Aircraft Rides at the Fly/In Cruise/In

New Standard D25 Biplane

The New Standard D-25 was designed in 1928 for the sole purpose of giving joy rides and exposing America to their first taste of aviation. Today this meticulously restored aircraft offers you the unique opportunity to experience aviation's golden age for you and your family.

The aircraft cruises at 70 mph at an altitude of 1,000 feet. It really makes a great low and slow experience. The engine is a Wright Whirlwind 760 cubic inch displacement radial engine developing 235 horsepower. It swings a beautiful Hamilton-Standard propeller and has an incredible sound.
